When clouds veil sun, and disaster comes
Oh my soul, oh my soul
When waters rise, and hope takes flight
Oh my soul, oh my soul
Ever faithful
Ever true
You alone
You never let go....
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go.
When clouds brought rain
and disaster came
Oh my soul, oh my soul
When waters rose, and hope had flown
Oh my soul, oh my soul
Oh my soul
overflows
Oh what love, oh what love
O my soul
fills with hope
perfect love that never lets go.....
In joy and pain
in sun and rain
You're the same
oh you never let go
(lyrics by David Crowder Band)
"In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express."
Romans 8:26
"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
Zephaniah 3:17
These verses have given me great comfort in times of need. I know some people may question why I always write about the bad times along with the good when it comes to celebrating Finley's birthdays. Here's why: In the Bible, whenever someone witnessed a miracle or someone was healed they were told to spread the great news; to tell everyone they encountered about what they had seen. I feel in a way this happened to us. We needed and prayed for a miracle and were given one... so we will tell of it until the end of our days. I thank God for Finley's life and can't imagine ours without him in it. We serve an amazing and gracious God...a God of miracles!
